CCB recorded an increase in profit at the end of the third quarter of 2019

At the end of the third quarter, the total assets of Central Cooperative Bank AD increased by 4.89% YoY and amounted to BGN 5.87 billion. This is clear from the interim financial statements of the public company, which is part of the portfolio of the public holding company Chimimport.

The Bank maintains a stable development, ranking eighth in the Bulgarian National Bank's ranking of commercial banks in Bulgaria by the end of September in terms of the assets' balance sheet value.

Between January and September, the amount of loans and advances from CCB to clients increased and amounted to BGN 2.36 billion, the report on the activity of the financial institution also reports. Managers note that this amount is up compared to the second quarter of this year.

During the third quarter, no extraordinary transactions were recorded in the statement of profit or loss, so the generated financial result is only a result of income and expenses related to the ordinary activities of Central Cooperative Bank AD. The company ended the nine-month period with a profit of BGN 34.70 million compared to BGN 21.78 million at the end of September last year. The increase in the positive financial result is a consequence of the higher net interest income and of fees and commissions collected from customers.

The main focus of CCB's activities in 2019 year is the provision of banking services to the population - consumer and mortgage loans, bank cards and their based services, electronic banking and payment services. At the same time, the Bank continues to serve large corporate clients and small and medium-sized enterprises, and continues to be one of the leading banks in Bulgaria.
