Prestigious recognition for the bank from "Chimimport" family

For another year, the Central Cooperative Bank is among the best banks in the region. This became clear from the new edition of the annual Top 100 ranking of banks in Southeast Europe for 2019 on See News. Every year it ranks the largest banks in the region by assets. In the 2019 edition, Central Cooperative Bank ranks among the top 30 banks in the ranking. The financial company, which is part of the portfolio of the public holding Chimimport, occupies the leading 28th place among the largest banks in Southeast Europe.

Central Cooperative Bank managed to increase in assets compared to 2018, which earned it 2 positions up from last year, and a total of six places compared to 2017.

See News data show an increase in the company's assets in 2018 by nearly 4% (3.74%), and their total value for this period amounts to 2,871,000,000 euros. Among the best banks in the ranking are also companies from Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Albania, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Kosovo and Montenegro. The leading first place in 2019 is the Romanian Banca Transilvania.

Leading position, but in a different segment, is won by another company from the portfolio of Chimimport Holding in the edition of See News TOP 100 SEE 2019 - Armeec Insurance Company. The insurance company ranks 21st in the TOP 100 ranking of the largest insurers in Southeast Europe.

The data show a significant increase of 6.76% in the recorded gross premium of ZAD Armeec for (GWP - Gross Written Premium) compared to the previous year. The good results keep the leading place of the company in the ranking of SEE NEWS TOP 100 See Insurers. Thus, Chimimport continues to have an increased presence on both the national and international markets.
