The public holding and the companies from its portfolio received another recognition in the ranking "Leading employers in Bulgaria" for 2019 of ICAP Bulgaria
A total of seven companies from the portfolio of the public holding Chimimport are among the most preferred employers in Bulgaria. This became clear from the next prestigious business edition of ICAP Bulgaria for 2019 - "Leading employers in Bulgaria". The ranking of ICAP Bulgaria distinguishes the 500 most prestigious and successful companies that provide the largest number of jobs, leaders in revenue, EBITDA and since its inception have managed to build traditions and good practices in the market.
Among the leading employers in Chimimport's portfolio is the Central Cooperative Bank. It was established in 1991 and currently employs nearly 2,200 people. This earned the bank a place among the top 40. In the ranking "Leading employers in Bulgaria" Central Cooperative Bank ranks 33rd among all 500 companies in the ranking.
In 70th place is another company that over the years has also won recognition after recognition. Lufthansa Technik Sofia provides 1,162 jobs and in 2018 marks a nearly 6 percent increase in the company's revenues.
Again in the field of aviation as a leading employer is the national carrier "Bulgaria Air", which is ranked 390th. The ICAP Bulgaria ranking also distinguishes Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD as one of the leading employers in Bulgaria. The company is positioned in 163rd place among all 500 others. For 2018, it employs nearly 800 people and the registered revenues amount to BGN 132,450,000. The financial profit on EBITDA is equal to BGN 77,398,000.
As expected, Armeec Insurance Joint Stock Company is ranked among the leading employers in Bulgaria. With its long history, professional attitude and quality services, Armeec Insurance Company has won 261st place in the ICAP ranking for 2019. Among the best employers in Chimimport's portfolio are CCB-Sila (425th place) and Swissport Bulgaria (441st place).
