See News’ TOP 100 honors two companies in Chimimport's portfolio among the largest in Southeast Europe

Two of the most iconic companies in the portfolio of the public holding Chimimport were awarded in the ranking of the largest companies in Southeast Europe in this year's TOP 100 edition of See News. Every year the ranking publishes a list of the most successful and profitable companies, and banking and insurance companies have their special rankings.

In the 2020 edition, the Central Cooperative Bank and Armeec Insurance Company again occupy leading positions in their sectors and are among the leaders in the region. The Armeec Insurance Company ranks 24th in Southeast Europe. In 2019, the company recorded a gross premium income of 113.7 million euros, which measured in percentage equals a positive change on an annual basis of 6.89% on the same indicator.

In terms of banks, the Central Cooperative Bank is ranked 31st among all banks in the region, with total assets of 3,122 million euros for 2019. Based on an annual change, an increase of 8.68% is reported on the same indicator. With these results the bank ranks among the most successful in the region and continues to be among the most preferred on the Bulgarian market.
