The profit of Central Cooperative Bank AD at the end of the first quarter amounted to BGN 9.66 million, it is clear from the interim accounting report of the company. At the end of March the total assets of Central Cooperative Bank AD increased by 7.78% on an annual basis and amounted to BGN 6.17 billion. Since the beginning of this year, the Bank has maintained stable development and ranks eighth in the BNB's ranking of commercial banks in Bulgaria in terms of the "book value of assets". Compared to the fourth quarter of last year, there is an increase in the assets of the credit institution.
In the period between January and March the amount of loans and advances provided by CCB to customers increased on an annual basis and amounted to BGN 2.50 billion, we read in the report on the activities of the financial institution. Managers note that there is an increase in this amount compared to the fourth quarter of last year.
At the end of March, CCB's liabilities to other depositors accounted for 98% of the credit institution's total liabilities. Their value has increased to BGN 5.48 billion. Attracting new customers is the reason for the reported growth in this indicator - both on an annual basis and compared to the fourth quarter of 2019.
The main shareholder of the bank is Chimimport AD, which directly and through related parties controls over 75% of the votes of the General Meeting of Shareholders of CCB AD. The remaining voting securities are owned by smaller investors.
